Correction of Eyelids

Age leads to the loss of the elasticity of the skin and excesses of skin form on the eyelids. They can be influenced also by other factors such as being hereditary, skin type, regimen, allergies, kidney illnesses, etc. This does not concern just a fault in elasticity, but also a functional flaw which causes a feeling of tiredness and soreness in the eyes.
This is an outpatient treatment with local anesthesia. Through this plastic operation, we remove excess skin from the eyelids and simultaneously reduce fat pouches according to need, which creates a soft bed for the eye in the eye socket. The resulting scar on the upper eyelid is situated in the location of a natural fold, into which the skin is folded during opening. On the lower eyelids, it is located just below the eyelashes.
